Giants World Series
Last year was Elan’s first game ever at AT&T Park and unfortunately her Giants lost to my Mets in extra innings. This year started off a lot better as the Giants came back to beat the Cardinals on Saturday Night 3-2 on cereamonious night that the Giants received their World Series Rings.
The Giants have won their first two home games in late inning fashion and look like the magic of 2010 is still with them. On Saturday the hero was newcomer Miguel Tejada and Friday was the slimmed down Panda Pablo Sandoval. Hopefully it’s another World Series year for the Giants that is unless the Mets somehow make a run at it.

In support of Shane and his tier 1 Gators I am once again left rooting for somebody else’s team. Shane will be enjoying the game on his flight to Miami if his flight ever leaves the Bay with this horrible weather.
It would be a great way to pass a few hours by for a flight as long as the Gators win!!
SDSU Celebrating Mountain West Tournament Championship
After cheering on the Gators I will support SDSU in support of Zach one of the co-founders of SF Fun Raisers
Despite the Cuse making an early exit from the Tournament I am still excited to watch some great sweet sixteen match ups and enjoy the rest of the tournament.

This year PopsNson did not make a pilgrimage to see the Cuse in the tournament. Instead we will be enjoying the game from our coaches on opposite coasts. Thank god for the new TV deal showing us all the games and not having us scramble to a bar or me paying Directv all my money to watch sports!!
We belive as much in this years team as last years and expect a deep run in the tournament. It all starts tonight at about 10pmEST against Indiana St. As long as the Cuse plays a focused 40 minutes and Scoop leads them they should move onto to face the Xavier vs Marquette winner.

Hopefully the Cuse can turn it around today and win a big road game. I’ll be recording the game so if their D continues to suck I can just fast forward.

Cuse is ready for Legends Classic
The pops and I were going to make the trek to Atlantic City and watch Syracuse take on Michigan. Some family circumstances and Pops suddenly bum knee have left us home eating left over turkey sandwiches and watching the game online instead.
Hopefully without our support the Cuse can overcame their early season struggles and play a complete game. We had planned to meet up with Donna Ditota from the Post Standard to get some expert insight about the Cuse. We will have to wait until our next road trip to meet up with Donna who has been gracious enough to try and meet with us twice now.
The Cuse will take on a young Michigan team with 3 players with last names that everyone should recognize. Jordan Dumars, Tim Hardaway Jr, and Jon Horford.
PopsNson will have more to share as we follow the games in Atlantic City and two wins for the Cuse.

Good Old 86 Mets
Even if PopsNson can’t be at the game together at least the son will be at AT&T park to cheer on the Mets!! Sorry Pops enjoy watching on the couch as you fall asleep about the 3rd inning.
Tonight’s seats are provided by fellow Mets fan Shane who by the way has a great music blog Blogging Music To Death for you all you music lovers make sure you check it out. He is always clutch in hooking up the field level seats or a luxury box to the Ncaa Tournament that I missed out on while watching the Cuse play in Buffalo.
Pops wishes he could be here especially after our bad eating experience at Citi Field he was dying to try out the west coast brats or sausage and peppers. I’ll let you know later tonight with a tweet if it’s better. He is at least happy to see Beltran back and hoping he can hit a splash shot for us.
After being shut down by Lincecum the Mets hope to rebound and actually score some runs. Beltran is back but we are without Jose Reyes and who knows how severe his injury is. The Mets are the worst team in baseball in assessing injuries and being up front with their fan base about them.
I’ll check back in later from the game and lets hope my eating experiences aren’t the most exciting part of the night!!
Possible Dinner/Snack/Dessert Menu for the evening:
Bratwurst, peppers and onions, some Kraut
Fries or Nachos
might be too cold for ice cream so Choc Chip Cookies instead
